Cara Clark is A primary Certified Nutritionist. With Her company, Cara Clark Nutrition she works with people to promote overall health and to manage a wide range of nutrition-related issues. Without a ‘dieting’ approach, she has helped clients manage weight, energy, performance, diabetes, thyroid related disease, allergies, eating disorders and more!
For the past couple of years, she has worked directly under celebrity nutritionist, Christine Avanti performing new client consultations and meal planning.
Cara’s passion for nutrition & wellness grew as she performed athletically at the collegiate level. With experience in the industry dating back since childhood, the goal is to expose as many people as possible to optimal health. She is not only a professional, but a wife and a mother, which makes her very sensitive to the needs of each individual client.
Cara is a Certified Sports and Clinical Nutritionist specializing in weight loss, diabetes, prenatal, post partum and sports nutrition. She received her bachelor’s degree from Northeastern State University and is continuing her education for a master’s degree in Health Science.

Allison Long is a Degreed Nutritionist who earned her BSc Dietetics and BSc Consumer Food Science from the University of Georgia. She works with individuals and groups from a variety of different backgrounds to help them reach their health and wellness goals. Allison believes in a teaching philosophy that discourages traditional “dieting” and encourages an overall healthy lifestyle focusing on variety, moderation, and balance. She feels that it is her calling in life is to use her knowledge and talents to help as many people as possible to lead longer, happier, more fulfilling lives.
For as long as she can remember, Allison has always had a passion for health, fitness, and nutrition. One of her favorite things to do in her spare time is experiment in the kitchen. Whether modifying recipes to make them healthier, testing out new ones, or playing around with ingredients to prepare a new creation, she is always looking for ways to make healthy food taste delicious!
In the past, Allison has worked with the Marine Corps’ Semper Fit Program, where she guided US Marines, Sailors, and their families on a variety of health and nutrition-related issues. At the Virginia Department of Health, Allison worked with pre- and post-natal mothers, infants, and young children, providing vital nutrition education and one-on-one counseling to low-income needy families in the area. After moving to Orange County, Allison was blessed enough to meet another Nutritionist with the same teaching philosophy and approach to health and nutrition. Shortly thereafter, they decided to join forces and Allison became part of the Cara Clark Nutrition team. Allison feels she could not have found a better match than Cara as a partner and teammate, leading the world to better health, one client at a time!

Chef Matthew Purnell became drawn to preparing food since childhood, enveloped in a multi-generational family that centers itself in the kitchen and around the table. His eagerness to learn had him under the wings of many top San Diego chefs. He sprouted by cooking in local cafes, and grew to become an Executive Chef at a busy La Jolla Italian restaurant. His zest for life has brought him to eating fresh foods, and gravitating to a vegan lifestyle focusing primarily on Raw foods. Nikki Ledford is a Natural Chef with an emphasis on ancestral and traditional diets which provide general health support through whole, real foods. She holds a nutrition-based culinary degree from Bauman College, a holistic wellness academy. Nikki began her health journey through a lifetime of allergies, intolerances, insecurities, and frustration. As she began to experiment with her food; the types, preparation, source, nutritional quality, etc, She began to fall in love with the creative and loving process of cooking. Her mission is to inspire healthy changes in others with a more balanced approach to food and lifestyle. She follows a whole foods, gut-healing diet which includes meat, fish, eggs, nuts, seeds, vegetables, fruits, and tubers. It is a grain/dairy/legume free diet which many studies show helps decrease inflammation in the body and promotes vitality and improvements in physical fitness and overall health.
